As the former Chief Minister, Jagan was shown respect by allowing his vehicle up to the house’s premises. While this gesture was well-received, some people have pointed out that TDP leaders were mocked and subjected to objectionable language by YCP members during the last term.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu took the oath first, followed by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The Cabinet Minister took the oath next, and then Jagan was summoned to the podium.
