AP government: A short time ago, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took taken oath in the Assembly. But there is a difference in stature from before. With 151 lawmakers at his side, he took the Chief Minister position in the Assembly in 2019. However, things are now different.

His party dropped from 151 to 11 seats. The YCP was not even granted the status of an opposition party in the state. Previously, there was speculation that he might not be able to enter the Assembly. However, Jagan joined the Assembly, and pro-tem speaker Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary administered his oath.

A viral clip of Jagan taking the oath in the assembly has sparked widespread attention. Fans of the YSR Congress Party chief noted the significance of his entrance and oath-taking ceremony. The event drew considerable interest as many remarked that Jagan received significant respect from the new government.

According to reports, personnel were instructed by Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav to permit Jagan’s car to enter the House grounds. Allowing the vehicles of opposition leaders, chief ministers, and other officials is subject to the procedure.

In a democracy such as ours, the opposition party is as important as the ruling one. However, YCP does not oppose anything because it did not receive the necessary number of seats. The previous state chief minister was nevertheless revered by the new administration. -AP Government

As the former Chief Minister, Jagan was shown respect by allowing his vehicle up to the house’s premises. While this gesture was well-received, some people have pointed out that TDP leaders were mocked and subjected to objectionable language by YCP members during the last term.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu took the oath first, followed by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The Cabinet Minister took the oath next, and then Jagan was summoned to the podium.
