Before the premiere of his much-anticipated film Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan made prayers at the famed shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi atop Trikuta hills in Jammu & Kashmir’s Reasi district. An official said the 58-year-old actor arrived at the shrine late Tuesday night to pay his respects. “The superstar arrived at Katra base camp on Tuesday evening and took the new Tarakote route to the shrine around 11.40 p.m.” “He offered prayers and promptly left,” the official claimed.

This is Shah Rukh’s second trip to Vaishno Devi in the last nine months. The actor had visited the shrine in December 2022, more than a month before his smash film Pathaan was released.
Jawan is a high-octane action thriller directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee. It is scheduled to hit theaters on September 7.
Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra also appear in the film. Deepika Padukone will make an appearance.
