Fans are eagerly awaiting Jr NTR’s 30th film after he delivered a historical hit with RRR. The film, titled ‘Devara,’ is a pan-India endeavor with a massive budget. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, marks Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut as well as her first collaboration with NTR. Expectations are high because the actor is coming off an epic blockbuster RRR, and the makers are working hard to match them all. This, like the SS Rajamouli-directed film, will be jam-packed with high-octane action moments.
According to Track Tollywood, the Devara film’s creators are doing everything possible to ensure the quality of the finished product. It is understood that all action scenes have been recorded, and the information has now been forwarded to the Hollywood-based VFX company. Around 50 crores, which is a significant portion of the total budget, would reportedly be spent on VFX.
Devara is one of the most expensive Tollywood productions, with an estimated budget of 150 crores, according to a recent report. The cost of VFX will therefore account for 33.33% of the overall film budget.
Saif Ali Khan also makes his Telugu debut in Devara, alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is presented by Nandamuri Kalyana Ram and produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. Anirudh Ravichander is the composer of the soundtrack. Release day is set for April 5, 2024.
