YS Sharmila: The younger sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ms. Sharmila, announced that she has chosen to back the Congress to stop votes from being split in the election in a way that could favor Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Chief of the YSR Telangana Party YS Sharmila announced today that she will be supporting the Congress and will not be running for office in the upcoming Telangana assembly elections.
The younger sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ms. Sharmila, stated that her party is supporting the Congress to prevent a vote split that could favor Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the elections.
An extremely significant decision has been made by the YSR Telangana Party. It is believed that the Congress party has a chance to overturn BRS, and any split anti-incumbency votes at this point will put KCR’s overthrow in jeopardy, according to Ms. Sharmila.
She declared that the decision had been made by her party to make the sacrifice to put an end to the “corrupt and anti-people rule of BRS under Mr. Rao.
There is a perception that our involvement in the Assembly elections will have a direct effect on Congress’s vote share in numerous constituencies, based on numerous surveys and firsthand accounts. The Telangana Assembly elections are approaching, and the YSR Telangana Party has chosen to forego running for office.
The YSRTP was founded in 2021 by Ms. Sharmila, the daughter of former Congress chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, to introduce the YSR family, or Rajanna Rajyam, to the state. Neither she nor her party have a track record in elections. She marched the entire state for 3,800 kilometers as part of her efforts.
Telangana is the focus of all my efforts. After the trip to Delhi, she declared, I am doing everything to improve the people’s condition so they benefit from the formation of Telangana.
