The Volvo XC90 now costs Rs 96.50 lakh (ex-showroom), an increase of Rs 1.6 lakh from its previous pricing. For orders placed on or before November 24, the new pricing is not apply. Volvo has highlighted growing input costs and supply chain bottlenecks as the explanations for the price increase.
Volvo XC90 Engine
Volvo offers the XC90 with two different powertrain options: a 303PS/400Nm plug-in hybrid motor and a mild hybrid petrol engine with 300PS/420Nm (B6 Inscription). An 8-speed automatic and an all-wheel drive system are included with both. Performance-wise, the plug-in hybrid completes the 0-100kmph sprint in 5.8 seconds, compared to the mild hybrid’s 6.7 seconds. Both have a top speed of 180 kmph that is electrically constrained. The XC90 has a wheelbase of 2984mm and measures 4953mm long, 2140mm wide, and 1773mm tall.
