PM Modi’s Open Letter: In a public address preceding the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi penned an open letter to all citizens, outlining several landmark decisions made by his administration, such as the revocation of Article 370 and the introduction of GST, while also extending his appreciation for the support of the populace.

Declaring that he is “at the threshold of completing a decade” in his partnership with the people, he has also asked for recommendations on how to realize the goal of a developed India, or Viksit Bharat.

Speaking to the public as “my dear family member,” the prime minister expressed his inspiration and motivation from the confidence and support of 140 crore Indians.

Highlighting India’s progress with a dual emphasis on tradition and modernity, PM Modi remarked on the nation’s experience of both “unprecedented development” in cutting-edge infrastructure and a “revitalization of our abundant national and cultural legacy”.

The achievements like the construction of durable homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, universal access to electricity, water, and LPG, free medical care through Ayushman Bharat, financial support to farmers, aid to women via Matru Vandana Yojana, and numerous other initiatives have only been attainable thanks to the confidence you have bestowed upon me,” expressed the Prime Minister.   – PM Modi’s Open Letter

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that India is progressing while keeping tradition and modernity in mind. He stated that the nation has witnessed “unprecedented construction” of next-generation infrastructure as well as a “rejuvenation of our rich national and cultural heritage”.

Your trust and support have enabled us to make numerous historic and significant decisions, including the implementation of GST, the revocation of Article 370, the enactment of a new law on Triple Talaq, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act to empower women’s participation in Parliament, the inauguration of a new Parliament building, and decisive actions against terrorism and Left-Wing Extremism,” stated the Prime Minister.

Your unwavering support is what gives me the courage to make audacious decisions for the welfare of the country, create ambitious plans, and carry them out successfully.
