On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Assam and Odisha. He is scheduled to address the core committee of the BJP in Assam and launch significant projects in both states, including the new campus of IIM-Sambalpur in Odisha. The Prime Minister is scheduled to land at Jharsuguda airport in the afternoon and proceed to the IIM-Sambalpur campus, where he will be accompanied by Governor Raghubar Das, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik. – PM Modi
He will speak at a public meeting at the Remed Ground before departing for Guwahati in the evening, according to officials. The prime minister will showcase projects worth Rs 11,600 crore during his two-day visit to Assam. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Friday that Prime Minister Modi will have a meeting with the state core committee of the BJP on Saturday night to discuss matters about the party. On Sunday, he will address a public assembly at Khanapara’s Veterinary College Playground, where a number of state and central projects will be announced.
The foundation stones will be laid for several significant projects, including the Kamakhya temple corridor (Rs 498 crore) and the six-lane road from the new airport terminal (Rs 358 crore) in Guwahati.
