PM Modi in UP today: The Prime Minister will initially travel to Sambhal to lay the cornerstone of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple.

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate over 14,000 projects totaling ₹10 lakh crore in Uttar Pradesh. These projects will be unveiled during the fourth ground-breaking ceremony of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023.

The projects span sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, IT and ITeS, food processing, housing and real estate, hospitality and entertainment, as well as education, among others.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will journey to Sambhal to lay the foundation stone of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in the Sambhal district.

The Shri Kalki Dham Temple is being constructed by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, chaired by Acharya Pramod Krishnam. Krishnam was recently expelled by the Congress for six years due to “anti-party remarks,” days after he met with Modi and extended an invitation for him to lay the foundation stone.

  • A detailed breakdown by department reveals that approximately 300 proposals from the MSME and exports promotion department, with an investment totaling around ₹45,000 crore, are slated for implementation during the GBC 4.0 (ground-breaking ceremony).
  • Around 60 proposals from the IT and electronics department, amounting to an investment of ₹62,000 crore, are also currently underway for implementation.
  • Meanwhile, approximately 750 projects from the housing department, with an investment totaling about ₹57,000 crore, are set to begin implementation at the groundbreaking ceremony. Additionally, nearly 40 projects from the excise department, amounting to an investment of approximately ₹7,500 crore, are scheduled for implementation at the same event.
  • One of the most important projects is the establishment of an electric vehicle manufacturing facility by Ashok Leyland on the site of the now-closed Scooters India Limited (SIL) in Lucknow.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated projects worth ₹10,155.79 crores for Ayodhya, while projects worth ₹13,486.63 crores are slated to commence in Mathura.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha constituency, Varanasi, will see the launch of projects worth ₹15,313.81 crore.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off his day-long visit to Uttar Pradesh starting from Sambhal.
  • He will participate in the inauguration program of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in the city, scheduled to commence around 10:30 am.
  • According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the inauguration event will be graced by numerous saints, religious leaders, and other dignitaries.
  • The Prime Minister will also deliver an address to the gathering on this occasion.
  • After Sambhal, Modi is set to arrive in Lucknow for the fourth ground-breaking ceremony of the UP Global Investors Summit 2023.
  • Once he arrives at the venue around 1:30 pm, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the exhibition, which will showcase various initiatives. Following this, he will proceed to the main hangar for the groundbreaking program.
  • The opening session of the ceremony will see the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Minister for Industry Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, along with other ministers, as well as 4000 leaders, industry representatives, and other delegates.
