Narendra Modi is set to address an election rally on Wednesday in Andhra Pradesh’s Annamayya district and later conduct a roadshow in the NTR district at Vijayawada.

The rally is slated to begin around 2 pm at Kaliri near Rajampeta, followed by the roadshow kicking off at approximately 5 pm from the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium on Bandar Road in Vijayawada.

The Andhra Pradesh BJP conveyed its anticipation for the Prime Minister’s visit to Rajampeta, emphasizing his role in providing assurances for the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh. This sentiment was expressed in a post on ‘X’ on Tuesday.

Wednesday’s public meeting marks Modi’s third appearance in the southern state as part of the lead-up to the concurrent Lok Sabha and Assembly elections scheduled for May 13th.  -Narendra Modi

This event follows two recent gatherings held in Rajamahendravaram and Anakapalli. Before these, the first NDA election meeting took place at Boppudi village in Palnadu district’s Chilakaluripeta Mandal on March 17, soon after the announcement of the election schedule on March 16.

N Kiran Kumar has been nominated as the BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from the Rajampeta constituency. He will contest against the YSRCP’s P Mithun Reddy. Meanwhile, in the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat, the TDP’s K Sivanath is set to face off against his brother, K Srinivas, representing the ruling party.

Under a seat-sharing agreement among NDA partners, the TDP has been allocated 144 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha constituencies, whereas the BJP will be contesting from six Lok Sabha and 10 Assembly seats.

The Janasena party will be contesting in two Lok Sabha and 21 Assembly seats.

The election results are scheduled to be declared on June 4th.
