Telangana CM Revanth Reddy briefed the media on the present political situation in Telangana and unveiled the Congress’s strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled to take place in two months. In response to inquiries about the BRS MLAs seeking a meeting, Revanth stated, “I am willing to meet any MLA interested in developing their constituency. I am open to an appointment with KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao as well; I have no objections to that.”
Regarding the presence of BRS in Telangana, Revanth asserted that discussing the party is futile as it is no longer relevant. He confidently stated that BRS no longer exists in Telangana. Revanth urged young people and aspirants to register for the Lok Sabha elections. According to him, the Congress is seeking capable candidates and leaders for the Lok Sabha elections. He made it known that a screening committee would be tasked with sorting the applicants according to qualifications. The chief minister said that the country’s economy had gotten worse under the BJP government in the center, with the total amount of debt having reached 100 lakh crore rupees. He claimed that Rahul Gandhi is currently India’s only viable contender for prime minister. – Revanth Reddy
