Price: Ex-showroom Delhi, the Hyundai Kona Electric costs between Rs 23.84 lakh and Rs 24.03 lakh.

Model: It is available in a fully loaded Premium model – Hyundai Kona Electric Car

Colours: Atlas White, Abyss Black, Titan Grey with Abyss Black roof, Fiery Red with Abyss Black roof, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof are the two monochromatic and three dual-tone colors available for the Kona.

Motor and battery pack: It has a 39.2 kWh battery pack and an electric motor that produces 136 PS and 395 Nm. The Kona Electric can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 9.7 seconds and has an ARAI-reported range of 452 km.

Charging: Three different charging methods are available for it: a 2.8kW portable charger, a 7.2kW wall-box charger, and a 50kW fast-charger. The battery may be fully charged by the first two methods in 19 hours and 6 hours and 10 minutes, respectively. The battery can be fully charged using the 50kW DC fast-charger in 57 minutes.

Operating Modes: The four driving settings for the electric SUV are Eco, Eco+, Comfort, and Sport. Paddles behind the steering wheel are used to adjust the regenerative braking intensity.

Features: It has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control with rear vents, wireless phone charging, ventilated and heated front seats, cruise control, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support.

Safety: Up to six airbags, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-assist control, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, a rear camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are all included in the car’s safety features.

Rivals: The Hyundai Kona Electric competes with the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and the planned Maruti eVX. Affordably priced options include the Mahindra XUV400 EV and Tata Nexon EV Max.
