The BMW X7 is a 6-seater SUV that costs between Rs. 1.24 and 1.26 Cr*. It is available in two models, with two / compliant engine options and a single automatic transmission. Other vital X7 stats include a kerb weight of 2525 and a boot space of Liters. The X7 is available in four different colors.

Price: The new X7 costs between Rs 1.22 crore and Rs 1.25 crore.

Seating Capacity: The BMW SUV has seating for up to seven people.

Features: The SUV includes a head-up display as well as a connected-screen layout (12.3-inch digital driver’s display and 14.9-inch infotainment unit with the marque’s OS8). Connected car technology, a digital key, a panoramic sunroof, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon music system, and 14-color ambient lighting are also available.

Engine and Transmission: The facelifted X7 is powered by three-litre, twin-turbo inline six petrol and diesel engines from BMW. While the former produces 381PS/520Nm, the later produces 340PS/700Nm. Both engines are all-wheel drive and have 48V mild-hybrid technology, which adds 12PS and 200Nm of torque under severe acceleration. BMW equips the SUV with an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels. The SUV’s 0-100kmph time is claimed to be 5.9 seconds. There are four drive modes available: Comfort, Efficient, Sport, and Sport Plus.

Variants: It comes in two models: xDrive40i M Sport and xDrive40d M Sport.

Safety: Multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, cornering brake control (CBC), and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) provide passenger safety. It also has advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as adaptive cruise control and detection of driver drowsiness.

Rivals: The BMW X7 is still competing against the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90.
