Engine and Transmission: The facelifted X7 is powered by three-litre, twin-turbo inline six petrol and diesel engines from BMW. While the former produces 381PS/520Nm, the later produces 340PS/700Nm. Both engines are all-wheel drive and have 48V mild-hybrid technology, which adds 12PS and 200Nm of torque under severe acceleration. BMW equips the SUV with an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels. The SUV’s 0-100kmph time is claimed to be 5.9 seconds. There are four drive modes available: Comfort, Efficient, Sport, and Sport Plus.
Variants: It comes in two models: xDrive40i M Sport and xDrive40d M Sport.
Safety: Multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, cornering brake control (CBC), and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) provide passenger safety. It also has advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as adaptive cruise control and detection of driver drowsiness.
