Atal Bihari Vajpayee led India to remarkable success, according to PM Modi

In his eulogies for the former leader, Modi noted that he contributed significantly to advancing India into the 21st century in a variety of fields.

On the anniversary of his passing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised BJP icon Atal Bihari Vajpayee and noted that India tremendously benefited from his leadership.

In paying respect to the former leader, Modi noted that he was instrumental in accelerating India’s development and bringing it into the twenty-first century in a variety of fields.

Vajpayee, the first BJP prime minister, is credited with popularizing the party outside of its core and effectively leading a coalition government for six years, during which he promoted reforms and improved infrastructure.

At the age of 93, he passed away in 2018.
