AP Weather Update: Andhra Pradesh is currently grappling with intense heat from the blazing sun, causing distress among its residents. However, amidst these challenging conditions, the AP Disaster Management Agency has brought some relief to the people. They have announced the likelihood of rainfall in several districts on Monday. According to the disaster management agent, rain is expected in Parvathipuram Manyam, Srikakulam, Alluri Seetharamaraju district, Sri Satyasai district, YSR, and Annamaya districts on Monday.

In certain areas of these districts, light to moderate rain is anticipated. Additionally, it warned that thunder might occur and urged residents to remain vigilant.

Meanwhile, MD Kurmanath from the disaster management agency has disclosed that rain is forecasted in several districts on Tuesday as well. Isolated showers are expected in Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Manyam, Alluri Sitaramaraj, Eluru, Palnadu, Prakasam, Nellore, Nandyala, Sri Sathyasai, YSR district, Annamaiya, Chittoor, and Tirupati districts. Farmers and laborers toiling in the fields are urged to remain vigilant due to the potential for lightning strikes. Additionally, Kurmanath mentioned the likelihood of hailstorms in 29 mandals across AP on Monday, specifying potential hailstorm occurrences in 10 mandals in Srikakulam, 13 in Vizianagaram, and 6 in Parvathipuram in the Manyam district. -AP Weather Update

Conversely, daytime temperatures in AP have shown a slight decrease compared to the previous two days. While Friday and Saturday witnessed record-breaking temperatures exceeding 47 degrees, Sunday saw a marginal reduction in daytime heat. Recorded temperatures on Sunday include 45.8 degrees in Mahanandi of Nandyala district, 45.6 degrees in G. Singavaram of Kurnool district, 45.5 degrees in Vepinapi Akkamambapuram of Nellore district, and 45.2 degrees in Veligand of Prakasam district.
