On August 6, Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar took Friendship Day celebrations to the next level by putting a humorous spin on the popular song ‘Kya Hua Tera Wada’ with his close pals.
“Dosto ke sath masti karne ka koi mukabala nahi,” he captioned the photo. My pals, regardless of their age or stage, bring out the youngster in me:) May God grant everyone the blessing of friendship. #FriendshipDay.”
On the professional front, Akshay, who was most recently seen in the film ‘Selfie’ opposite Emraan Hashmi, will next be seen in ‘OMG 2’, where his character is inspired by Lord Shiva.
Amit Rai’s film also stars Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ramayan’s Arun Govil. It will hit theaters on August 11.
The satirical comedy-drama is a follow-up to the 2012 smash hit ‘OMG-Oh My God!’ Cape of Good Films, Ashwin Varde, Vipul D Shah, and Rajesh Bahl produce the film. The film’s creative producer is Dr Chandraprakash Diwedi. Amalendu Chaudhary shot the film’s cinematography.
It tells the story of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devout devotee of Lord Shiva, a plain guy, a loving father, and a kind husband. One day, his son, Vivek, is expelled from school for immoral behavior. Upon confrontation, Kanti realizes that his son has been the victim of misinformation and misdirection.
Grief-stricken and unable to deal with the problem, Kanti intends to leave town with his family, until… a heavenly intervention directs him to the truth. Kanti then resolves to take everyone responsible to court.
