YCP receives relief from the AP High Court

The AP High Court has said unequivocally that the demolition of YCP offices should not be done in a hurry. Status Co is still placing important orders. The court believed that YCP’s explanation needed to be taken into account as well. It cautioned the authorities against acting rashly. The court further stated that unless such action is against the public interest, none should be done.

The petitioners have been given a two-week deadline by the YCP to turn in all building permit-related paperwork. It has been made clear that officials from all relevant agencies are required to abide by the rules set forth by the High Court. In Andhra Pradesh, the government has sent notifications to over ten YCP offices thus far. YCP leaders made their court appearance in this setting.

The petitioners claimed that the former Telugu Desam government’s regulations were followed when allocating land. Attorneys for YCP said that all approvals were obtained correctly. As of right now, it has provided important directives while preserving the current situation.

In addition, officials have sent notifications to the Visakhapatnam and Anakapally YCP offices. On this, YCP petitioned the AP High Court.

Two days ago, the AP High Court issued a status quo order in response to the petition. The AP High Court rehearsed the arguments as the deadline approached today and made important rulings upholding the status quo, which prohibits demolishing the YCP offices until the outcome of the next court case.
