According to reports from PTI, seven students, two of whom were girls, reportedly took their own lives shortly after the Telangana state board announced the results of the Intermediate Public Examination 2024 for both the first (equivalent to Class 11) and second year (Class 12). Police stated that these tragic incidents occurred within the past 48 hours following the release of the results on Wednesday.
The Superintendent of Police in Mahabubabad stated that the two girls, who are believed to have died by suicide, did not pass the examination. -Telangana News
Instances were reported from Rajendranagar, located on the outskirts of Hyderabad, as well as from Khammam, Mahabubabad, and Kollur.
