Subhash Chandra Bose: When Kangana Ranaut declared that the Bhartiya Janta Party’s victory in 2014 marked India’s true independence, it caused quite a commotion a few years prior. She has now stirred up controversy once more with her most recent remarks.

Soon after entering the BJP as an MP candidate from her native Mandi, Kangana attended a Times Now event on March 27. A video of Kangana from the interview went viral on Twitter and Instagram about a week after it was conducted. She states that Subhash Chandra Bose, the leader of Azad Hind Fauj and liberation struggle, was India’s first prime minister rather than Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

What was said by Kangana?

First, let me clarify this today. When we attained independence, where did Subhash Chandra Bose, the first Prime Minister of India, go?” When reminded by the host that Bose was not India’s Prime Minister, Kangana proposed a theory. “Perhaps he wasn’t, but why? Where did he vanish to? How was he made to disappear? She asserted that Bose fought alongside Japan and Germany for India’s independence but was prevented from returning to India.

Responses to Kangana’s remarks

Subhash Chandra Bose passed away on August 18, 1945, while India achieved independence on August 15, 1947. India’s first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, was chosen.

Kangana Ranaut’s remarks have faced widespread criticism online. One tweet sarcastically summarized her claims: According to Kangana Ranaut: – India gained independence in 2014 – Netaji Bose served as the first Prime Minister of independent India. – Sardar Patel missed out on being PM due to his lack of English proficiency. For more such amusing anecdotes over the next 5 years, voters in Mandi should support Kangana.” Another individual humorously remarked, I strongly disapprove of Kangana Ranaut’s assertion that Subhash Chandra Bose was India’s first Prime Minister. We all know that Shri Narendra Modi Ji assumed the role after India gained independence in 2014.

Another individual voiced apprehension, suggesting, that I’m concerned that if Kangana were to assume the role of Education Minister, she may endeavor to rewrite history by asserting that Subhash Chandra Bose served as the first Prime Minister of independent India.
