Sanjay Singh bail: The Supreme Court granted Sanjay Singh bail six months after being arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.

The Aam Aadmi Party praised the Supreme Court’s decision to give bail to Sanjay Singh, its jailed Rajya Sabha MP, in the Delhi excise policy case.

Addressing a press conference shortly after the Supreme Court judgment, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj stated, The Supreme Court asked how can it be acceptable that a person offered 11 statements, You jailed Sanjay Singh after accepting only one statement against him, notwithstanding his ten claims. The Supreme Court also inquired whether any money had been retrieved or attached. “ED has no response to this today is a big day for democracy.”

March 21 was a huge day, and things started to change after that. Today, April 2, AAP has resolved some of its issues. Today, the Supreme Court heard Sanjay Singh’s bail petition, and the judge himself questioned some questions of the Centre and ED, to which they had no replies,” the AAP leader continued.

Delhi Minister Atishi stated, “Today, party leader Sanjay Singh’s bail (in the excise policy case) has demonstrated that the truth always prevails.” You can suppress the truth but not remove it. We all watched how AAP leaders were detained on fake charges. During Sanjay Singh’s court appearance today, two critical facts were revealed to everyone.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stated that the AAP can no longer claim that federal agencies engage in vendetta politics.

This bail was granted since the ED had not opposed Sanjay Singh’s bail…From now on, the AAP cannot allege that any of the agencies, particularly the ED or the CBI, are engaging in vendetta politics,” BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla was reported by ANI as saying.

Today, the AAP’s accusation that ED is vengeful has been refuted. If the AAP believes that bail equates to the dismissal of charges and celebration, it indicates that the party has agreed that the leaders behind jail are guilty,” he continued.

Singh, who was arrested in October, was granted bail by a Supreme Court panel after the ED declined to contest his application. The bench stated the AAP leader could continue his political activities but could not make any statements about the matter.
