The action thriller, directed by Prashanth Neel, was always going to be a front-loaded affair. Still, the collection could have been much higher, but the mixed reaction from critics and audiences has hampered the run. Also, don’t forget that Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is putting up a fight in the Hindi belt.

Salaar advance booking on Day 9

According to the advance booking report for day 9, Salaar has sold over 1.90 lakh tickets across the country. It amounts to a gross collection of 3.60 crores (excluding blocked seats). The Hindi dubbed version has received the most pre-orders, followed by the original Telugu version.

Today will be a big day for Salaar.

While advance booking is good, Salaar will rely heavily on over-the-counter ticket sales, which are expected to skyrocket, with collections exceeding the 15 crore mark. Despite Dunki’s presence, the film will see an increase in mass centers today, and night occupancies will be solid considering tomorrow on Sunday. Let’s see how the second Saturday unfolds.

Salaar’s box office success in India

According to early estimates, the Prabhas-starrer earned between 9.50 and 10.50 crores on day 8 at the Indian box office, bringing its total to 317.45-318.45 crores. The 350 crore mark is expected to be reached by the end of the second weekend. Following that, the next big goal will be to surpass Baahubali: The Beginning’s lifetime collection (418 crores) and become Prabhas’ second-highest net earner in India.
