Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev: Physicians stated that spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is making good progress in his recovery after undergoing emergency brain surgery on Wednesday at a private hospital.

Senior Consultant Neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri of Apollo Hospitals stated in a video that Sadhguru had been experiencing excruciating headaches for the past four weeks. The spiritual guide maintained his routine and activities despite poor health, even leading the all-night MahaShivRatri celebrations on March 8.

After a week, Sadhguru developed a severe headache. A large brain bleed was discovered during Sadhguru’s urgent MRI, which was ordered on Dr. Suri’s recommendation.

Sadhguru was recommended by the doctor to be hospitalized immediately, but he preferred to attend activities. Sadhguru informed Dr. Suri that he has not missed a single meeting in the past 40 years.

On March 17th, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s neurological condition deteriorated further.

After that, Sadhguru had brain surgery by Dr. Vinit Suri, Dr Sudheer Tyagi, Dr. Pranav  Kumar, and Dr. S Chatterjee.

Sadhguru has shown steady progress and his body, brain, and vital parameters have improved to normal levels, says Dr. Suri. His recuperation has gone far more smoothly than anticipated.

He asserted that, alongside the medical interventions conducted by the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Sadhguru is also playing a role in his own healing process.

Sadhguru posted a video to Instagram from his hospital bed on Wednesday. The neurosurgeons at Apollo Hospital chopped through my skull looking for something, but they found nothing — it was empty. So they gave up and patched things up. Here I am in Delhi with a patched-up skull but no damaged brain, he explained.

PM Modi spoke with the spiritual leader, wishing him a swift recovery.

Addressed @SadhguruJV Ji and extended wishes for his good health and a speedy recovery, Modi mentioned in a post on X(Twitter).
