Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered over 51,000 appointment letters to newly-hired government employees via video conferencing at the Rozgar Mela on Monday.

PM Modi addressed the occasion, referring to the new recruits as ‘Amrit Rakshaks.’ “I congratulate you all on becoming the people of India’s ‘Amrit Rakshaks’ in this Amrit Kaal.”

Notably, the Rozgar Mela idea was initiated in October of last year, and the event on Tuesday was hosted in 45 locations.

“Rozgar Mela is being held at a moment when the nation is full of pride and self-confidence. “Our Chandrayaan and its rover Pragyan are sending historic photos from the Moon all the time,” PM Modi stated at the Rozgar Mela.

Modi predicted that India will be one of the top three economies in the world by the end of this decade.

“Today, you are reading and seeing that India is one of the world’s fastest growing economies.” India will be one of the world’s top three economies within the next decade. “When Modi gives this guarantee, he gives it with full responsibility,” Modi said in his virtual address at the Rozgar Mela.

“From food to pharma, from space to startups, all sectors must grow for any economy,” he asserted.

Speaking at the ceremony, Modi stated that the automobile and pharmaceutical industries are rapidly increasing and will offer a large number of job possibilities for the youth in the future. “The tourism sector is expected to contribute more than Rs 20 lakh crore to the Indian economy by 2030, and it has the potential to create 13-14 crore new jobs,” he added.

“There is a lot of debate these days about the importance of the food processing industry.” Last year, India’s food processing sector was worth Rs 26 lakh crore. This sector will be worth Rs 35 lakh crore in the next 3-3.5 years, according to PM Modi.

Speaking about the BJP government’s initiatives, Modi stated, “We launched Jan Dhan Yojana nine years ago on this day; besides financial benefits, this scheme has played a key role in job creation.”
