PM Modi expresses deep concern over King Salman's health

PM Modi: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia is currently receiving treatment at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah after medical tests revealed that he is suffering from lung inflammation.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia was wished a swift recovery by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, in response to reports that the 88-year-old is undergoing treatment for lung inflammation.

“I am deeply concerned about the news regarding the health of the King of Saudi Arabia, His Majesty @King Salman bin Abdulaziz. In an X post, Prime Minister Modi wished him a quick and complete recovery on behalf of the people of India. -PM Modi

As per the Saudi official news agency, King Salman is receiving medical attention at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah due to lung inflammation, which was discovered through medical examinations. Until the inflammation goes down, he will be treated with antibiotics.

During a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman provided reassurance regarding King Salman’s health, as reported by state TV.

A high temperature and joint ache prompted Saudi King Salman to undergo medical testing on Sunday at the royal facilities at Al Salam Palace.
