On Monday, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan expressed worries regarding his safety, revealing that he had been attacked by certain individuals wielding thin blades during a recent gathering.

Notably, Pavan Kalyan’s party will run in tandem with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the BJP for both the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

During a meeting with party workers, the actor-politician voiced concerns about being targeted in attacks during extensive public gatherings. With recent events raising security issues, the politician emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and precautions. They urged party members to prioritize safety measures while maintaining the momentum of public engagement efforts. The actor-politician stressed the importance of ensuring the well-being of both supporters and themselves amidst the evolving security landscape.

Pavan Kalyan asserted that whenever large crowds gather to meet him, a handful of individuals manage to infiltrate with blades, presenting a threat to both him and his security team members.

He suspected that these activities were carried out by members of rival parties.

During the meeting, he reassured constituents that he would allocate time to meet his supporters despite security concerns, emphasizing the importance of direct engagement. He affirmed his commitment to maintaining accessibility and connection with the people he represents, pledging to prioritize such interactions despite challenges. This assurance aimed to reinforce trust and solidarity with his supporters amid heightened security apprehensions.

“I intend to call at least 200 members daily for photo sessions. However, during larger gatherings, despite following specific protocols, there have been instances where some individuals infiltrate using thin blades to harm both security personnel and myself. This has occurred recently…” he stated.
