In the meantime, the Congress published a “black paper” outlining the “failures” of the Modi administration in the Central government. They said that the country has been suffering from “injustice” for the past ten years due to problems including price increases, joblessness, institutional subversion, and “discrimination” against non-BJP states.

Before the Modi government’s proposal to present a ‘white paper’ in Parliament detailing the alleged “mismanagement” of the economy under previous Congress administrations, Nirmala Sitharaman’s initiative to lay out a similar report in the Lok Sabha today has come to light. As a result of this impending ‘white paper’, the Budget Session of Parliament has been prolonged by a day, now slated to continue until February 10th.
