Massive terror attack: Early Saturday, an air force training base in Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan, was assaulted by six militants. Reuters reported that three attackers were eliminated before breaching the base, while the rest were trapped. Shockingly, the assault caused significant damage to three aircraft and a fuelling tanker.
The Pakistani military confirmed that the Tehreek-e-Jihad (TTP), a local extremist group, claimed responsibility for the attack. Currently, a military operation is in progress to eliminate the threat and secure the area.
