According to court documents from a civil lawsuit unsealed on Wednesday, a woman who claimed she was victimized by late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein said Britain’s Prince Andrew put his In 2001, Epstein’s hand was on her breast in her Manhattan townhouse.
The incident, which had previously been reported by other media outlets and was denied by Andrew, was among the details described in an initial trove of previously redacted documents that revealed few new details about Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking activities.
Prince Andrew could not be reached for comment right away.
Before pleading guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor in 2008, Epstein socialized with Wall Street titans, royalty, and celebrities. He committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges at the age of 66.
Several women have accused Epstein of forcing them to perform sexual services for him and his guests at his private Caribbean island and homes in New York, Florida, and New Mexico.
For years, the names of more than 150 people named in a lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers, were kept under seal until a federal judge ruled last month that there was no legal reason to do so.

Giuffre testified in a deposition that she had sex with several politicians and business leaders.
Giuffre also claimed in her deposition that she had sex with other prominent figures who have previously denied her allegations, such as hedge-fund owner Glenn Dubin, billionaire US businessman Tom Pritzker and the late Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson.
She also claimed to have had sex with other political leaders whose names she couldn’t recall.
Dubin could not be reached for comment right away. Pritzker did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
Giuffre’s lawyer, Sigrid McCawley, said some questions about who enabled Epstein remain unanswered.
Unsealing these documents brings us closer to that goal, she said in a statement released on Wednesday.
In a separate deposition, Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg stated that Prince Andrew placed his hand on her breast to pose for a photo with Epstein, Giuffre, and Epstein’s former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.
According to Sjoberg, the photo also included a puppet with the words Prince Andrew written on it.

Because of his association with Epstein, Andrew has lost most of his royal titles.
In 2022, he settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre for an undisclosed sum, and he has denied any wrongdoing.
The list is based on a long-resolved defamation suit Giuffre filed against Maxwell.
Maxwell, the daughter of British media mogul Robert Maxwell, is serving a 20-year prison sentence for assisting Epstein in recruiting underage girls. Her conviction is being challenged.
Giuffre accused Maxwell of recruiting her when she was underage to be abused by Epstein.
The case is being overseen by US District Judge Loretta Preska, who has ruled that some names, including those of people who were underage when Epstein abused them, will remain confidential.
