Congress leaders will hold EVMs accountable for the June 4

Congress: On Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a swipe at the Congress, suggesting that their party leaders would convene a press conference on June 4th to lay the blame for their loss on electronic voting machines (EVMs).

Shah further asserted that although Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi wouldn’t be held accountable for the defeat, party president Mallikarjun Kharge would likely lose his position.

At an election rally in Kushinagar, Amit Shah stated, ‘I possess information on the initial five phases. Throughout these phases of the Lok Sabha polls, PM Modi has secured over 310 seats. Rahul won’t surpass 40, and Akhilesh Yadav won’t even secure four seats by June 4th.

Come the afternoon of June 4th, mark my words, Rahul baba’s associates will convene a press conference, alleging their defeat solely on the grounds of EVM malfunction. Kharge will bear the brunt of this loss as well.

He also highlighted that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi hails from a humble background, born into a backward family, both Rahul and Akhilesh were born into privilege, unfamiliar with the challenges faced by the people of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

They weren’t accustomed to the country’s conditions. Rahul frequently took vacations to Thailand every six months. They couldn’t withstand the heat of Purvanchal. In contrast, PM Modi hasn’t taken a single day off during his tenure, he emphasized.

He also accused the duo of being embroiled in corruption, underscoring that PM Modi has never faced any such allegations.

As both Chief Minister and Prime Minister, not even a whisper of corruption, not even 25 paisa, has been raised against Modi. Meanwhile, the two ‘shehzade’ (Rahul-Akhilesh) allegedly have corruption allegations totaling ₹12 lakh crore, he alleged without providing further details.

Touching on the Ram temple issue, the Home Minister highlighted that the SP government had resorted to firing on Ram bhakts, whereas the Congress had allegedly hindered progress on the temple matter for 70 years.

Modiji not only laid the foundation stone (bhoomipujan) of the temple but also participated in the consecration ceremony (pran pratishtha), undertook the renovation of the Kashi Vishwanath temple, and contributed efforts towards the gold plating of the Somnath temple, he said.
