Ayodhya hotel bookings: Ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, hotels in the city are already at up to 80% full, and rates have increased fivefold. Hotels in the city have been booked up to 80% of their capacity ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. Hotel room prices have increased fivefold, and availability has become a serious concern for guests. Approximately three to five lakh people are expected to descend upon the city to witness the momentous ‘pran pratishtha’ (consecration) ceremony, which will see the placement of Lord Ram’s statue in the Ram Temple.

Online travel agencies like MakeMyTrip and Booking.com are displaying “no availability” in the majority of Ayodhya’s hotels ahead of the event. Rent has increased up to five times over the average amount, if rooms are available. A spokesperson of the Cygnett Collection Hotel in Ayodhya told India Today TV that most of the rooms are already reserved and that the remaining ones are available for Rs 70,240.

According to a Ramayana Hotel spokesperson, the cost for a room in the hotel has surpassed Rs 40,000 per day for dates surrounding the consecration event. The most luxury room at Park Inn Radisson, one of Ayodhya’s best hotels, has been reserved for up to Rs 1 lakh. – Ayodhya hotel bookings

MILLET CUISINES IN MENU

In honor of the International Year of Nutritious Cereals, 2023, hotel chains in Ayodhya have created special menus that incorporate millets dishes. According to Rajesh Singh, the Ramayana Hotel’s head chef, many millet-based dishes as well as fasting snacks would be given to visitors.
