YS Jagan Protest against lack of law and order in AP in Delhi
The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has accused the Andhra Pradesh state government of failing to maintain law and order, leading to a state of anarchy. Former Chief Minister YS Jagan has spearheaded a campaign to highlight what he describes as the government’s inability to ensure peace and security. To draw national attention to these issues, Jagan held a protest near Jantar Mantar in Delhi, where he was joined by party MLAs, MLCs, MPs, and other senior leaders. The protest featured a photo and video exhibition that showcased recent incidents of violence in Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan has called for a thorough investigation into the violence occurring in the state, demanding that investigative agencies look into these incidents. His aim with the protest is to raise awareness about the deteriorating situation in Andhra Pradesh and to urge the public to take notice of the alarming number of violent incidents. According to Jagan, 36 people have lost their lives over the past 50 days, which he cites as evidence of the government’s failure to uphold democratic principles.

The YSRCP leader has expressed concerns about the state of democracy in Andhra Pradesh, urging citizens to unite to safeguard democratic values. In light of the situation, Jagan and his party are pushing for the imposition of President’s Rule in the state as a remedy for the current unrest. Concurrently, leaders from various national parties are expected to address the situation in Andhra Pradesh and seek support to address the perceived crisis.
By staging the dharna and using visual displays to illustrate the ongoing violence, Jagan and the YSR Congress Party aim to pressure the central government and bring national focus to the issues plaguing Andhra Pradesh. Their efforts are intended to mobilize both public opinion and political support to address the escalating crisis in the state.
