UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024: The UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations results for 2024 have been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). On the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in, candidates who took the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam can view their results.

On June 16, the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations 2024 were held at several test locations nationwide. More than 13.4 lakh students took the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) and General Studies exams in two shifts.

Indian politics, geography, history, economy, science and technology, environment and ecology, and international relations were all covered in General Studies (Paper I). There were reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and decision-making problems on the second paper of the Civil Services Aptitude Test.

The test consisted of four-option, objective-style questions with a possible score of 400. Candidates who pass will be able to take the UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2024, which an interview or personality test will follow.

The outcome will appear on your screen after you click “submit.”

UPSC preliminary exam results 2024: qualifying standards

A candidate needs to meet the overall qualifying marks in General Studies Paper 1 and obtain a minimum score of 33% in General Studies Paper 2 to pass the UPSC CSE Prelims test.

The UPSC calendar indicates that the Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2024 will be held in September of that year by the commission. The UPSC cutoff and answer key will be made public after the official result is announced, rather than by the Commission together with the results.

With 40 seats set aside for individuals with benchmark disability categories, the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations are designed to fill 1,056 positions in a variety of central government departments and services, such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
