The Supreme Court has issued notices to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and all other respondents. This action is in connection with the disproportionate assets case filed against the Chief Minister. The notices signify a crucial development in the ongoing legal proceedings. The court’s decision to involve multiple respondents, including the CBI, suggests a comprehensive investigation into the allegations surrounding Jagan Mohan Reddy’s assets. This development underscores the significance of the case and the attention it has garnered from both legal and public perspectives.

The YCP rebel MP K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju filed a petition asking the court to reject Jagan’s bail, and the bench of the Supreme Court heard the case.

The CBI and ED did not object to Jagan’s bail request, as the MP’s attorney brought it to the attention of the court. The bench responded by asking, Should the bail be dismissed now itself?

The MP’s attorney pleaded with the judge to start the procedure with notifications.

Raju had previously requested that the case be moved from Hyderabad to Delhi in a petition. The registry was requested by the bench to include that petition with the bail petition.
