Raghav Chadha returns from eye surgery and visits Delhi CM

Raghav Chadha: After being absent for several months, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha appeared in public on Saturday at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence in the national capital. A camera captured the exact moment Chadha’s car pulled up to the CM’s house.

Chadha, recognized as a trusted confidant of Arvind Kejriwal and a crucial figure in handling party responsibilities, had been noticeably absent after undergoing emergency eye surgery, specifically a vitrectomy, earlier this month in the United Kingdom.

His extended absence raised questions, particularly amidst a series of challenges faced by the party, including Kejriwal’s recent arrest. However, the AAP had provided assurances that Chadha would resume his involvement in the party’s Lok Sabha election campaign once he recovered his health.

On May 2, in an official statement, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj disclosed that Raghav Chadha had undergone a major eye surgery in the UK. Chadha’s condition was deemed critical, with a potential risk of blindness. Bharadwaj assured that once Chadha’s health improved, he would promptly return to India to contribute to our election initiatives.

During the party’s challenging times, although Chadha was physically absent, he maintained an active presence on social media platforms. He occasionally utilized his platform to support the party and launch attacks against political adversaries.
