The 1st session of the new Lok Sabha began on Monday. The Rajya Sabha meeting starts. The President congratulated all the newly elected members of the 18th Lok Sabha. President Murmu also referred to the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in his speech. She said this is the biggest election in the world. Around 64 crore voters performed their duty enthusiastically. The President said that for many decades there was no voting in the Kashmir Valley, he broke the records for the first time won the election from Jammu and Kashmir, and entered the Parliament as an MP.

For four decades, the enemies have been misusing the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. The situation in Jammu and Kashmir has changed. Humankind has faith in democracy. People have faith that the government will fulfill their aspirations.

Addressing both the Houses of the President, the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are being debated around the world today. The world is watching as the people of India form a government with a stable and clear majority for the third time in a row. This happened six decades later. At a time when people’s aspirations are at their highest, they want to work accordingly. People expressed confidence in the government for the third time in a row. People now believe that the government will fulfill their aspirations. Humankind has faith in security and development. Humankind also believed in government guarantees. Talking about the economy and investments, Rashtrathi Droupadi Murmu opined that there should be healthy competition between states to attract investors from all over the world. It is a competitive cooperative federation, with a true spirit. National development through state development, we will move ahead with this spirit. She said reforms, performance and determination to transform have made India the fastest-growing economy in the world today. In 10 years, India has grown from the 11th largest economy to the fifth largest economy. The President clarified that India has achieved an average growth of 8 percent between 2021 – 2024.

This time was very special for all of us. The President said that the government will present the budget according to the trust of the people. There are many things in the budget that will benefit the poor. India has become the fifth-largest economy in the world. India is a focus for the entire world. We have faced difficult times like Corona. She said that now India is going to grow as the third-largest economic power. India is expanding strongly in all sectors. -President speech

The administration is also improving the service industry. The administration is trying to create jobs. A huge network is being established for the benefit of farmers. Farmers receive financial help under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. More than Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand crores have been distributed. The government has increased the minimum support price for kharif crops to a new high. “A lot of changes have been made,” she stated.

The President said that many revolutionary decisions have been taken for the welfare of the people and that crops are being promoted which are less than the demand in the global market. We are protecting the health of the people with Ayushman Bharat. We are working for expansion of forests. He said that the government is giving high priority to green energy. The President said that the number of airports has been increased significantly in ten years.

Metro trains have been introduced in 21 cities in ten years. India has been placed against developed countries. We laid 3.80 lakh km of roads with PM Gramin Sadak Yojana. We have introduced fast Vande Bharat trains. For the first time, we laid the foundation of the underwater railway. The President made it clear that our government is working under modernity.

The President mentioned about the NEET paper leak in the joint speech of both Houses. On this occasion, the opposition parties got angry. She said that our government is engaged in creating the right environment for every youth of the country to dream big and fulfill them.
