During his visit to Naval Base Karwar in Karnataka on Monday, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar inaugurated residential complexes with 600 flats at Amadhalli and Arga Naval Bases, according to a news release from the Navy.

Modern amenities, enhanced interiors, landscaping, and external services have been installed in the ten residential towers.

According to the statement, these infrastructure upgrades are part of Project Seabird’s continuing Phase IIA, which will accommodate about 10,000 uniformed and civilian employees and their families.

Numerous direct and indirect jobs have been created as a result of the ongoing construction. The project is in line with the federal government’s ‘AatmaNirbharBharat’ strategy, with over 90% of materials sourced domestically.

The CNS complimented Project Seabird’s efforts to build high-quality defense infrastructure and urged the completion of other facilities as soon as possible, according to the announcement.
