The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has expected heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next four days.

Eastern India

According to the most current Met Department advisory, rainfall activity in East India is expected to increase beginning Wednesday.

“Light to moderate scattered to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall activity is very likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands today and Thursday; over Odisha until Saturday; over Jharkhand from Wednesday to Friday; and over West Bengal and Sikkim today and Thursday.” “Isolated very heavy falls are also expected over Odisha on Thursday and Friday,” the Met department said.

Central India

Between June 1 and July 16, rainfall in East and Northeast India was 19% lower than typical, while the country as a whole saw a 6% deficiency from the normal long-term average of 554.7 mm.

Western India

The southwest monsoon is on the verge of resuming in Maharashtra after an almost two-week hiatus. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are indicators of a partial resumption of the monsoon in Maharashtra beginning Thursday.

While the majority of the state will have mild to moderate precipitation, certain locations may experience moderate to considerable rainfall beginning Friday, according to an IMD official.
