KCR will attend the assembly meetings tomorrow for the first time as the opposition leader
BRS chief KCR is set to attend the Telangana budget meetings, marking his first appearance in the assembly as the leader of the opposition. The budget sessions in Telangana will kick off on July 23, beginning with the Governor’s address. Chief Minister Revanth Sarkar is scheduled to present the budget on July 25, while Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka will deliver the budget speech in the assembly on the same day.
Currently, CM Revanth and Deputy CM Bhatti are occupied with a visit to Delhi, and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka will take center stage to present the budget. Former Chief Minister KCR has chosen to attend the assembly on this significant day.
The announcement of KCR’s presence has sparked considerable interest across the state, especially since the assembly sessions will start tomorrow at 11 am. The assembly will also observe a moment of mourning for Lasyanandita as the meetings commence.

After last year’s general election defeat, the BRS was relegated to opposition status. During this period, KCR underwent leg and hip surgery, necessitating rest as advised by doctors, which kept him from attending previous assembly sessions. This time, with several MLAs switching allegiance to the BRS from Congress, the party’s numbers are dwindling. Some Congress leaders speculate that the BRS Legislature Party might merge with Congress soon.
