Delhi Airport Roof Collapse: According to a Delhi Fire Services officer, a roof fell at Delhi International Airport’s Terminal 1. Three fire tenders were quickly rushed to the location. Four persons were hurt in the incident; all were rescued and transported to a hospital for treatment.

There are fire authorities there, several flights are running late, and travelers are experiencing lengthy traffic jams on the way to the airport.

According to Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the incident happened at 5:30 AM as a result of heavy rains.

Several cars, including cabs, were also harmed in the fall. Many flights are delayed as a result, and travelers have to endure protracted traffic congestion as they get closer to the airport.

“Personally monitoring the roof collapse incident at T1 Delhi Airport,” tweeted Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu. At the scene, first responders are in action. Additionally, airlines have been instructed to assist affected passengers at Terminal 1. The injured have been transported to a medical facility, and rescue efforts are ongoing.

Due to heavy rains leading to a partial closure, IndiGo Airlines has canceled all flights to and from Terminal 1 of Delhi Airport. As a result, all departures from Terminal 1 are temporarily suspended, and the check-in counters are closed.

Due to a roof collapse, flight departures at Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1 have been suspended until 2 PM.
