AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s First Meeting with Collectors and SPs Post-NDA Coalition Formation

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will meet with Collectors and SPs for the first time since the NDA coalition government’s formation. In this session, he will provide directives and outline the government’s main priorities and objectives. AP CM Chandrababu has highlighted that systems weakened during the previous administration, stressing the urgent need to expedite progress.

As a result, the government will clarify the expected operations for officials, articulating its intentions clearly. The Chief Minister will direct officials to increase their participation in development programs prioritizing education, health, and welfare. Additionally, the government’s position on civil services, grievance redressal, and other significant issues will be addressed, with particular emphasis on maintaining peace and security within the state.

Initial Discussion on Agriculture, Forestry, and Mines

The government recognizes the administrative challenges, policy decisions, and implementation issues in welfare schemes, sand mining, and the agriculture sector across districts. Therefore, the meeting will initially address these fundamental areas. The agenda includes a primary discussion on agriculture, allied sectors, forestry, and mines. Secretaries of the respective departments will present on these topics, highlighting their priorities and goals to the collectors. Subsequently, there will be a discussion on the welfare of the poor and weaker sections.

Emphasis on Peace, Security, and Governance

Following this, there will be special discussions on medical and health services, seasonal conditions and precautions, the education sector, municipal administration, CRDA, panchayat raj, rural development, housing, water resources, civic supplies, and industries. In the evening, a discussion on the revenue department will take place. R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department, will present on issues such as assigned and dotted lands, pre-hold issues, land encroachment by YCP leaders, possession of assigned lands, and illegal registrations and mutations.

CM Chandrababu will then review peace and security measures, emphasizing the government’s strong stance on maintaining law and order. Following the Revenue Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s addresses, CM Chandrababu will deliver the keynote speech.

Strengthening Administrative Control

Chandrababu Naidu aims to tighten administrative control, ensuring the system runs smoothly. While initially planned as a two-day meeting, it has been decided to condense it into one day. The meeting will conclude in the evening with a law and order review involving Collectors and District SPs, finalizing the government’s agenda for effective governance and development.
