Arvind Kejriwal news: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced on April 29 that officials at Tihar jail have granted permission for Sunita, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, to visit him today.
According to PTI, AAP stated that Sunita Kejriwal will meet the chief minister at 12:30 pm. Atishi, a Delhi cabinet minister, will accompany her during the meeting.
Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal’s party stated that permission to meet the chief minister in jail had not been granted. However, jail officials refuted this claim, asserting that it was untrue.
Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, is scheduled to meet Kejriwal on April 30th.
Later, Sunita Kejriwal and Atishi were observed making their way to Tihar Jail to visit the Chief Minister of Delhi. -Arvind Kejriwal news
What is Arvind Kejriwal’s fault?
On April 28th, Sunita Kejriwal organized a roadshow in West Delhi where she referred to the Delhi CM as a “sher (Lion)”. She stated that he was incarcerated due to his initiatives such as building schools, offering free electricity, and establishing Mohalla Clinics in the national capital.
According to ANI, Sunita Kejriwal questioned, “What is Arvind Kejriwal’s fault? His ‘fault’ lies in providing free electricity, addressing the issue of frequent power cuts, establishing schools for students, setting up Mohalla clinics, and initiating a monthly ₹1000 allowance for women. Arvind Kejriwal is indeed a ‘Sher’ (lion).”
