Pawan Kalyan Emphasizes Separation of Politics and Administration

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan recently addressed the need to distinguish between administration and politics, especially when representatives serve the people. In a significant move to enhance the functioning of Gram Panchayats, the alliance government has initiated a village festival program aimed at transforming rural areas across the state. The inaugural celebrations took place in Krishna district, specifically at Kankipadu, marking the beginning of Panchayat Week.

Criticism of YCP’s Governance

During the event, Pawan Kalyan raised critical questions about the governance under the YSR Congress Party (YCP), reflecting on the previous administration’s failure to address public issues effectively. He pointed out that despite having 151 MLAs, the YCP did not engage sincerely with the populace. “For how long could they remain insincere in resolving people’s problems other than merely issuing words and curses?” Pawan questioned, underscoring the need for accountability in governance.

Commitment to Transparency

Pawan Kalyan emphasized the importance of transparency in government operations, stating that display boards have been set up in every village to showcase progress and fund allocations. He expressed his concern over reports of corruption, specifically mentioning an incident involving an IFS officer soliciting money in his name. “Upon learning of this, we have issued orders for an investigation and will suspend any officials found guilty,” he asserted. The Deputy CM reiterated their commitment to serving the public, stating, “We are here to serve the people, and we will not tolerate bribery or corruption.”

The Importance of Coordination

Addressing the audience, Pawan Kalyan acknowledged the collaborative efforts required across various government departments to execute 30,000 projects within the Panchayat Raj department. He congratulated officials for their cooperation and successful target achievement, emphasizing that integrity among government officials is crucial for the welfare of the people. He highlighted the significance of the National Employment Guarantee Scheme, which injects ₹10,000 crores annually into the state’s development efforts.

Infrastructure Development

Pawan Kalyan outlined specific projects aimed at improving infrastructure, particularly road connectivity in rural areas. He mentioned requests from MLAs, including Collector Balaji, regarding the need for better roads from Kankipadu to Royyur. “Are you ordering the authorities to take steps to build connectivity roads in Lankan villages?” he urged, advocating for improvements to enhance accessibility.

Promoting Economic Growth

In his speech, Pawan Kalyan articulated a vision for rural economic growth through initiatives such as the village festival and the 100-day employment guarantee scheme. “We should grow economically with the employment guarantee scheme. The Collectors have approved all the works initiated on August 23, and today, we celebrate Bhumi Puja in a festive atmosphere. Let’s aim to complete all projects by Sankranti and enjoy another festival in the villages,” he stated, expressing optimism for community development.

Relationship with Prime Minister Modi

Pawan Kalyan also addressed his relationship with Prime Minister Modi, affirming that he has a strong rapport with him. “I maintain a good relationship with Prime Minister Modi, although I do not meet him frequently. The people are eager to hear about railway developments in Konaseema,” he remarked. He assured the audience that he would communicate the concerns of the Bapatla, Machilipatnam, and Konaseema areas to the Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of addressing regional issues.

Fan Interaction and Leadership Aspirations

In an engaging moment, Pawan Kalyan referenced his fans chanting “OG OG,” which he humorously acknowledged, noting that the term initially related to Modi. He called for improvements to roads and infrastructure before indulging in celebrations, asserting that each of his peers in the industry possesses a unique style. “All heroes should strive for goodness and make impactful films. We must work responsibly first; only then will the enjoyment follow,” he stated, promoting a sense of duty among fellow leaders.

Addressing Corruption Allegations

Lastly, Pawan Kalyan addressed allegations about him being linked to financial misconduct, particularly concerning the ₹10,000 crore funds allocated annually through the employment guarantee scheme. He laid the foundation for the construction of several roads, highlighting plans for eleven cement roads to be built in Kankipadu and additional infrastructure projects worth lakhs of rupees in surrounding areas.

In conclusion, Pawan Kalyan’s speeches reflect a commitment to reforming rural governance, enhancing transparency, and addressing public issues while emphasizing the critical role of integrity and coordination among government officials. His proactive approach aims to foster development and improve the quality of life in villages across the state.
