Andhra portfolio allocation: On Friday, June 14, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu assigned the new minister’s portfolios. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was assigned the Panchayati Raj, Environment, Forest, Science, and Technology ministry, while Chief Minister Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh was given charge of HRD, IT Electronics, and Communication, as per the list of Andhra Pradesh ministers’ portfolios. Naidu has retained Law and Order.

On Wednesday,Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, beginning his fourth term in office. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Union Ministers JP Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, Anupriya Patel, Ramdas Athawale, Chirag Paswan, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel, former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, and several other leaders were present at the ceremony.

In addition to Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of the Jana Sena Party (JSP), and Nara Lokesh, the son of the TDP chief, also took their oaths near Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli, on the outskirts of Vijayawada. -Andhra portfolio allocation

The TDP, in alliance with the JSP and BJP, secured a landslide victory by winning 164 out of 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. The Naidu-led TDP alone secured 135 seats, while the JSP won 21 and the BJP 8. The TDP received 153,84,576 votes, constituting 45.60 percent of the total vote share. In contrast, the incumbent Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, was reduced to just 11 seats in the Assembly. The YSRCP garnered 132,84,134 votes, with a vote share of 39.37 percent.
