On July 15, 2024, Rajitha Chanti reported that police seized a large quantity of drugs in Cyberabad. Joint investigations by the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau, Cyberabad SOT, and Rajendranagar Police led to the arrest of Aman Preet Singh and five Nigerians, with 200 grams of cocaine worth over Rs.2 crores confiscated.

Rajendranagar DCP Srinivas stated that Aman Preet Singh is under investigation as a consumer. So far, five arrests have been made, with two suspects still at large, including a key Nigerian leader. A Nigerian woman, Anoha Blessing, allegedly brought and sold drugs in Hyderabad using a fake passport. Since 2019, she reportedly smuggled 2.6 kg of cocaine into Hyderabad through Mumbai, Goa, and Bangalore, distributing it to 30 VIP customers over six months.
Arrests included Kishan Rati, Ankit, Yashwant, Rohit, Sri Charan, Prasad, Hemant, Nikhil Dhawan, Madhu, Raghu Kristamraju Venkat, and a Tollywood choreographer. The gang’s mastermind, Ebuka Suji, remains at large with a Rs 2 lakh reward for his capture. Five arrested individuals tested positive for cocaine.
